This game is called "Back Home to Sonny". It's basically about a domesticated wolf running away from a dog catcher to be back with his owner. The game was created by drawing pixelized images and backgrounds in photoshop, inserting them in Game Maker Pro, and programming them within that application.
This is the Trading Card project we did way back when in first quarter. We had to include a gradient, different colors/shapes, lines, patterns, and our name on this canvas. What I like about it is the color blend of the background between the pink, blue, and purple. Something I dislike is sloppiness of the dots in the bottom half of the image. I should have made more and spaced them out evenly.
The Tessellation project used a square card, cut it from corner to corner on the same side with a certain shape or line, then move them either across the card or turn them somehow to make a shape. Putting them side by side made an image to design and make the banner. I like the color schemes I chose, but I dislike the shapes I made. I would've drew different lines doing this again, rather than the ones here.
Our latest project, Monatge, had us use different backgrounds and foregrounds to blend, along with a fictional character to make a surreal photo. The character choice I made was good, although, I don't like how blurred I made it compared to the background. I could've made it a bit more clear, without making it look too pristine to be int he image.
